5. The Pool
5.1. Swimming pools are dangerous - the pool is NOT to be used by children without adult supervision.
5.2. If you have requested pool heat, we will try to ensure the pool is heated to a suitable temperature, however during certain times of the year there can be a very cold spell, during these times pool heaters struggle to heat the water enough to compensate for the heat loss from the pool to the cold air. These are circumstances beyond our control and owing to such; refunds will not be made for pool heat unless the pool heater is found to be faulty. Any refunds shall only be to an amount up to the amount paid for the pool heat.
5.3. The Pool cover should be used (when not swimming) when pool heat is on as it helps to keep the heat in during winter months. Guests MUST not use the pool when the pool cover is in place; it must be removed from the pool prior to entering. The pool cover CANNOT be walked on when in place, any attempt to do so will result in falling into the pool and becoming trapped in the cover. Children should always be supervised when on the pool deck even when the cover is in place. When removed from the pool cover should be placed to the side away from the pool to prevent accidents.
5.4. The use of inflatable’s and pool toys either guests own personal ones or ones which are at the villa are allowed but we accept no responsibility for there use, they are used at the guests own risk. They are not life preserves and must not be used as such.

There will be an additional charge if the client and or guest choose to ignore this condition of booking. By law the property is hardwired with smoke detectors, it is an offence to interfere or obstruct them.
